Oja Musicae Summer Camp is a space for meeting and exchanging musical ideas and experiences where music teachers and students from Spain and abroad take part. At our Summer Camp one can enjoy a very special educational environment in which artistic and leisure activities will be carried out, making the most of the fantastic surroundings of the village, Ezcaray, in La Rioja.
We will put into practice additional activities as well as individual, group and chamber music lessons.
Another interesting activity we will put into motion in this edition is the 3rd Musical Interpretation Contest in which, upon registration, our Professional Teaching students will take part.
We will also carry out sports and leisure activities.
ORCHESTRA, WORKSHOPS AND MASTER CLASSES
We will set up three groupings: Elementary Teaching Orchestra, Professional Teaching Symphony Orchestra and Band.
In addition, there will also be Violin Master Classes led by master JOAQUÍN TORRE, and Saxophone Master Classes led by master MARIANO GARCÍA.
We will also organize Choir, Ethnic Percussion, String Instruments Luthier, Mindfulness workshops, Jazz and Modern Music .
We will organize concerts at the Ezcaray Royal Theatre and in other emblematic scenarios in Ezcaray where students, teachers, Orchestras and Oja Musicae Band will perfom.
In 2019 edition, a very special concert with international music star guitarrist Pablo Sáinz Villegas will perform tuesday July 23 at Ezcaray Royal Theatre and will offer a talk to all the campus students and teachers.

SUMMER CAMP TEACHERS
Highly experienced teachers who develop, with collective spirit, an artistic, musical and playful activity.
Collegium Musicum La Rioja
Association Collegium Musicum La Rioja arose from the collaborative work between musical and educational institutions in the academic year 2006-2007.
Following the call launched by the University of La Rioja for the creation of a university choir, a new challenge was posed: offering instrumentalists to take part. Soon students from the university, the music conservatories of La Rioja and the music schools of Logroño, Calahorra and Haro joined.
Promoters of Collegium Musicum La Rioja decided to join together with the aim of encouraging the exchange of musical ideas and experiences among teachers and students. Its musical director, Alfredo Rodríguez Ugalde, teacher at the Professional Music Conservatory of La Rioja, together with teachers of the University of La Rioja and of the three conservatories in La Rioja, devised an open training space where they could promote the musical practice in group.
According to their outstanding didactic philosophy, members work to develop, with collective spirit, an artistic, musical and fun activity which promotes values such as solidarity, coexistence, teamwork and individual effort of young people. In spite of its youth, they have managed to form an authentic symphonic orchestra with a perfect balance among its sections.
We are left to meet the expectations created, correspond with enthusiasm and dedication, and try to surpass the success of previous editions.
